NSW: Cherry Picking

December is the season for Cherry Picking. Because all of us are busy before the Hols, we decided to go on December 25th (no work).

The orchard the we pick was "Wombat Heights". For the official website, click here.
It was about a 4 hrs drive from our suburb.

Where are the cherries?!

There they are! hiding..

Busy picking.. It's very difficult to fill a bucket. It took us a while (maybe because we eat 1, then put 1 on the bucket  *_*).

There goes our cherries! ^_^

Groupfei with my travel buddies! ^_^

By the way, the orchard also has peach and plum trees. But there's not enough fruit for picking yet (season starts around January). We just took a few pictures with them but didn't do fruit picking..

Saw this view along the highway and we can't resist taking a few pictures. Solution? Stop the car and just take that picture! I'm the driver, so they can't prevent me from stopping the car..  =p

Ate Haydn, Enjoying the windmills... What kind of pose is this?! =p

Note: before going to the orchard, I phoned them to ask if they are open on December 25 and if I need to make a reservation (coz there's limit to how many people can go). The kind lady who answered (which happened to be the owner) said that there's no need to make a reservation and yes, they're open on the 25th. I was like, "really?! but it's Christmas! lol... :) "
